In April 2022, Eyes of Army explained why, alongside buying ready-made DJI Mavic and Autel drones, it was paying greater attention to Ukrainian manufacturing teams. Obtaining finished equipment was becoming more difficult, while local workshops had experience and room to develop.

The foundation planned to help raise funds for the necessary manufacturing equipment. Supporting Ukrainian specialists was seen as a way towards a more independent and resilient equipment supply.
