In September 2024, the Eyes of Army page shared Serhii Hnidko’s personal account of a battery fire while the team was returning from a trip. Colleagues noticed the danger and helped stop and extinguish the fire. Some equipment was damaged.

Serhii described the incident as a reminder of the responsibility involved in storing and transporting equipment. It was a difficult experience for the team and prompted even greater attention to the safety of its own work.
