In August 2025, Serhii Hnidko described an initiative to provide equipment for unmanned technology classes at the 169th Training Centre. He said that the classes had been agreed with the leadership. He had already provided his own controllers for simulator use, and his friend Dmytro had helped with a generator.

The next steps envisaged purchasing two FPV drones, two small tinywhoop training drones and associated equipment. Serhii also planned to lend some of his personal equipment temporarily. The initiative brought together a team member’s experience, support from friends and the training of new service members.
