On 6 May 2023, the Eyes of Army team announced its intention to enter a Monobank competition and launched a fundraiser for the necessary equipment. The initiative was linked to an event planned for 9 May.

The story later took a different turn: in a message dated 11 May, the team said that the event had not taken place and summarised the fundraiser’s results. This announcement preserves the initial stage of that campaign.
