On 7 April 2023, Eyes of Army announced that its fundraiser for a new thermal imager had reached its goal in about a day and a half. Donors gave slightly more than the team had initially requested.

The surplus was to go towards repairing two FLIR VUE PRO units. The team thanked everyone who had responded so quickly; it described the equipment received in a subsequent report.
